Fathom President Shares Insights with Small Businesses during NGLCC Inauguration Conversation

This week, Fathom President & CEO, Aria Varasteh, was featured as a panelist during the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Special Inauguration Conversation, "Leadership, Opportunity, and Accountability in Congress and the New Administration".

This inspiring conversation welcomed members of Congress to share their message and vision for the new Congress, especially for small business owners. They discussed the historically diverse cohort elected to Congress and what bringing their identities to work means to them and our communities; as well as how we in the business community can work with the new Congress and White House to create a new day of equity, opportunity, and inclusion for all Americans.

Fathom is Officially a Certified LGBTBE!

I could not be prouder to announce that, effective December 2020, Fathom Consulting Group became one of over 1500 officially-certified LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBE®) through the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

As the national certification body for LGBT-owned businesses as well as the only non-profit advocacy group for LGBT supplier diversity, the NGLCC is blazing trails across the country to ensure employment opportunities and workplaces are embracing tolerance and diversity for all people.

With our new certification, Fathom will be able to add to the value provided every day and ally with NGLCC and its corporate partners as a nationally-recognized diverse supplier, with an even-larger platform to enhance and expand diversity across all types of organizations and positions as operations grow.

Fathom has joined ECCDC!

Having founded this company on the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, I could not be prouder to announce that effective November 11th, 2020 Fathom Consulting Group became a member of the Equality Chamber of Commerce DC Metro Area (ECCDC).

The Equality Chamber of Commerce DC Metro Area is the non-profit, not-partisan network of several hundred queer and allied (Q&A) businesses and business leaders in the DC metropolitan area. Through its extended network of community partners and event participants in the capital area LGBT community, it regularly reaches approximately 5,000 individuals through is messaging, networking events, and workshops.

The Chamber is an affiliate of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and was awarded Chamber of the Year in 2012. It has been ranked in the top 20 of Washington Business Journal’s List of Chambers of Commerce for multiple years.
